Attorney Hamilton looks to bring his hard-working, passionate, and detail-oriented attitude back to his hometown of Chicago. Growing up on the Southside of Chicago, Attorney Hamilton noticed the lack of representation on the Southside and looks to make a change.
Attorney Hamilton excelled during his law school career, graduating at the top of his class with the distinction of Cum Laude. After completing his first year, Attorney Hamilton was selected as an intern with the Cook County Public Defender’s office. Attorney Hamilton acquired experience by working in multiple divisions, ranging from traffic court to felony preliminaries while at the Public Defender’s office.
After his second year in law school, Attorney Hamilton started working for Anum Law, a reputable firm based in Jacksonville, Florida. While at Anum Law, Attorney Hamilton was second chair on several criminal defense cases. Attorney Hamilton also spearheaded multiple personal injury cases that lead to client settlements. Attorney Hamilton has serviced entertainment clients by drafting and reviewing legal documents as well as negotiating recording and production contracts.
Prior to law school, Attorney Hamilton was an artist manager, promoter, and marketing strategist. In this role, Attorney Hamilton gained a wealth of Intellectual Property knowledge, completing numerous federal copyrights as well as some state and federal trademark applications.
Attorney Hamilton is also active in the community through his own endeavor, UCRP (Urban Community Renewal Project) and as a board member for Eleve, Inc. Attorney Hamilton is admitted to the Illinois bar. He is also a member of BESLA (Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association), the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Sports Lawyers Association.
